Only in North Dakota

Yesterday my children played outside all afternoon in beautiful 73 degree sunshine. By the time we headed to church last night the wind had picked up and the clouds had rolled in. That lasted a couple of hours and then cleared up ~ allowing the kids to head off outside for a game of hide-n-seek in the dark, before heading to bed.
Fast forward about 4 hours ~ everyone is sleeping. The winds picks up, the thunder is booming, and the hail (although small, still hail) is hitting our roof. Once the hail stopped it poured down rain for about an hour.
Fast forward about 3 more hours ~ I get up to do my devotions. I start the coffee, open the blinds, and what do I see????? SNOW!!!!!!!!!!!! Yes, there is snow on my deck and it is now 30 degrees.
See what a day can bring forth in North Dakota?!?!?!?
Ecclesiastes 3:1 To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven:
And in North Dakota you can see all those seasons in a 24 hour period!!

I was the brilliant one that wore open-toe shoes with nylons today. The walk from the parking lot to the front door at work is really long at 26 degrees! I think I left a toe out there along the way.
